WAM Annual Meeting

Recognizing that there is insufficient time for a member annual meeting at the Emerging Issues Conference, we are returning to a stand alone Annual Meeting Event.  These are exciting times for WAM.  The Board would like to share with you the status of our application to affiliate with the Association for Conflict Resolution.  The new organization, with a new name, perhaps ACR-Wisconisn or a name to be determined that best captures the association's history, will expand its offerings to serve the full continuuum of dispute resolution platforms and providers in Wisconsin.  Membership in the Association for Conflict Resolutiion will not be required for membership in ACR-Wisconsin Association of Mediators, but will always be an option to consider. After a discussion of the reasons for deciding to affiliate with ACR, the board would like to discuss opportunities for members to serve on committees or on the Executive Board.  Both opportunities provide members with a way to participate in setting an agenda for the future of the association. The member meeting will be followed by a board meeting which is open to all members of WAM but not required.
